2. Make the recipe with family or friends!
3. Take a photo of the finished recipe with the recipe or make a video about your recipe
(all photos and videos will be posted on the Franklin LRC ‘s blog)
4. Submit photo or video by January 10th to http://padlet.com/franklinlrc/cook
5. 1 entry per recipe made. No limit to the number entries submitted. Winners will be selected at random.
(2) Prizes for family entries: 1 year subscription of Yum Yum or Chop Chop magazine
(2) Prizes for group entries: Librarian for the Day or an Extra Book Check Out

A: It can be about anything. Here are some ideas:

A: Yes! We encourage you to cook and create a video with your friends!
Q: If I make a video with my friends, and our video is chosen at random, will we all win a magazine subscription?
A; No, group entries will win an extra book check out -or- librarian for the day, your choice. Only family entries can win a magazine subscription.
Q: Why does it have to be a recipe from a library book? Can't I use my own favorite recipe to share?
A: By using a recipe from our Franklin LRC library book, it encourages other people to check out the book. You might even want to check out the book again too!
Q: Is there a limit to how many recipes we make?
A: No, make as many or as few recipes as you would like! We would love to see your thoughts on them all.
Q: Do the recipes need to be healthy?
A: Nope. Use as much chocolate, butter, and sugar as you would like. The Heathy Living Recipe Contest is in the Spring. There is a reason we are doing this contest around the holidays!
Q: Am I supposed to bring the food to school?
A: Nope, Please enjoy your food at home.
A: It can be about anything. Here are some ideas:
- Make a lot of different recipes, and review them. Tell us the most and least favorite. Tell us what was easy or hard.
- Make a video showing clips of you making it and how it turned out.
- Make a video of your family reviewing the recipe.
- Make a video showing some tips or tell some things that you would do differently.
- Make the recipe twice: one exactly as printed, and the other with some changes ( more or less of an ingredient, or swap out one ingredient for another, or even add a little extra seasoning)
